Kate is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about all aspects of women’s health and strives to empower patients with family-centered and trauma-informed care. Prior to becoming a midwife, Kate volunteered as a doula helping support pregnant people and providing them with tools to advocate for themselves throughout labor and birth. She believes in being a partner alongside patients and families and supporting them through evidence-based care and shared-decision making. Originally from Richmond, VA, Kate enjoys working out, knitting, and spending time with friends in the kitchen cooking and baking.
