Caitlin first began her work in women’s health and childbirth as a doula in nursing school in Baltimore, caring for pregnant women and providing emotional support for them during their labors. There, she discovered her passion for educating women about their own health and ensuring women are well informed; Caitlin’s choice to pursue midwifery is deeply rooted in her motivation to empower clients to actively participate in their healthcare. She strives to provide all individuals with evidence-based, compassionate care. She is dedicated to the field of midwifery as a means of ensuring high quality care for individuals across the lifespan and works within her professional organization, American College of Nurse-Midwives, to advance access to midwifery care. When she is not working, Caitlin can be found hiking, doing pilates, or playing with her puppy.
